FAQ

What if my dogs ill or injured?

If you are aware that your dog is injured or ill I ask that you get in touch before our session and we can re-arrange it when they’re better.

If it becomes apparent during our session that they’re not well I’ll stop things and let you head to the nearest vets.

How long are your sessions?

Normally an hour. But dogs do get tired when we’re training, so I try to be flexible. If your dog is shattered after 50 minutes its best to stop – they won’t learn anything more. Equally if a dog is bright and bushy tailed after an hour there no reason not to go a little longer.

If a puppy is under 9 months I only ever take them for 1/2 hour lessons & if your puppy is really young then we’ll split that into 2 15 minutes.

How Many Dogs Will Be In A Session?

Just yours. That way I can concentrate on making sure we get the best out of your dog during the session. On occasion I may bring one of my dogs if we need to work on something specific.

Do you train entire dogs?

Entire dogs are more than welcome. I won’t train in season bitches, but as soon as they’ve finished then we’re good to go again.

How do you communicate with me?

Normally via WhatsApp.

How do I pay you?

Either BACS transfer, I’ll make sure my details are on each invoice, or if you prefer I can take most cards ( except AMEX). Sadly, I’m not able to take cash anymore.

Do you only train gundogs?

Not at all. I’m more than happy to help you with any breed of dog. I look for specific problems I can help you with and a specific and realistic end date for us to work towards
