My training methodology is simple. I’ll train you to train your dog. It’s simple as that. I also believe in reward based, positive training. I’ll never raise my voice or use anything but positive methods with your dog – that’s not the fastest way to train, but it’s proven it does produce the best and longest lasting results.

All my training is done 1:2:1, that way I can spend as much time as you need concentrating on you and your dog. Generally lessons are a hour long, but I’m flexible about that. If after 45 minutes you’re dog is telling us enough then so be it – there’s no point in pushing things. Equally if we go to, say, 80 minutes then all good.
It’s our responsibility to make our dogs the best they can be. With the skills I’ll teach you, you’ll have a happy and contented pet.
Above all else, I’ll aim to teach you to control and direct your dog’s urges, so you teach them to use what comes naturally to them and that control will be invaluable.
If you have a very young dog, say under 9 months or so then I do a 30 minute lesson. For real youngsters I may spilt that 30 minutes into two fifteen minute sessions, it’s never to early to start but equally it does need to be lots of fun.
